who am i?

i am chomp. this is where i write about stuff that i care about, mostly music-related. my welcome post actually outlines most of what is/will be relevant.

why substack?

i realized that i needed a hub for my thoughts that would prevent me from hijacking conversations in social settings and/or talking to myself for hours on end. here, you have the luxury of opting out of what i have to say - consider yourself lucky. for real though, talking about music is my #1 favorite thing to do ever and this is a really cool way of being able to do that.
